Medical Grand Rounds are held every Wednesday morning
from September through June at the IWK Health Centre,
O.E. Smith Auditorium. Our Grand Rounds are accredited
by the Royal College as Category 1 CPD activity.
Rounds are presented by faculty, residents or visiting
professors and cover a wide range of topics, both
basic and clinical science, relevant to Pediatrics.
All members of the IWK Community are invited, but
the presentations are generally directed at a pediatrician
audience. Many rounds are broadcast by videoconference
to sites throughout the Maritimes including Sydney,
Kentville, Antigonish, Truro, Moncton, Bathurst,
Charlottetown and St. John’s.
This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
